A&B's engagement shoot on a perfect summer's eve in London

Summer took its time to arrive in 2023 but then it came with a bang at the end of May! Just in time for Amy and Bob’s super relaxed and romantic engagement session. We went for a walk, stopped for a game of backgammon - their favourite park activity during lockdown - and got tangled up in some lovely tall grass.

From May to August I always aim to do my engagement shoots in the evening, as the light is just so magical, especially if we are going for an open park setting. In the city it doesn’t matter too much, as there are usually plenty of tall buildings around for shade. The long shadows also provide some great opportunity for creative shots, which I always appreciate. This was such a lovely shoot. I’m already looking forward to spring this year.
