September is one of the best months to get married in. I dare say so - I got got married in September myself! More often than not the weather is calm and still pretty warm, but you start getting those lovely warm autumn tones and light. Alice and Paul’s wedding at Hampton Court House took place on one of those perfect early autumn days.

We started off at Alice’s parents house in the Surrey countryside for getting ready photos with lots of lovely natural light and a very happy and relaxed vibe. It was my first big wedding since lockdown, and a church filled with a 150 people was a bit of a shock at first. But how beautiful to see everyone celebrating properly again.

I love the quirky interior of Hampton Court House, especially all the lovely house plants, conservatory and that gorgeous room with the checkered tiles. After canapes on the lawn, everyone headed inside for dinner and some excellent speeches. A perfect day.
