It was such a pleasure to photograph Olivia and Adam’s relaxed summer wedding at Lains Barn. Their wedding day had a great balance between traditional wedding formalities and a super relaxed and happy party vibe, which suited them perfectly. Olivia and Adam love going to music festivals, and this was beautifully reflected in their day. The tables were all named after festivals they’d been to together, and the lawn and informal seating outside gave the whole day a brilliant festival feel. The weather was also picture perfect, no muddy wellies around here!

The grounds around the Barn are not huge, but really lovely. So you don’t have to trek for your photos. We popped out briefly for bridal party and couple photos after the ceremony, and then again at dinner time for some glorious golden hour light. That field behind the barn has some stunning warm colours.

The evening light is particularly beautiful at this time of year and it was such a treat to shoot all these lovely candids while everyone was mingling outside after dinner with the fairy lights coming on. A perfect summer wedding day.
