As a greenhouse and plant obsessive, capturing Carolin and Terry’s wedding in the beautiful old conservatory at Chiswick House and Gardens was a dream. The day started off at the Coach and Horses Pub in Kew, where Carolin was getting ready with her bridesmaids and close family. I always love capturing this time of day, when everything moves at a slightly slower pace, before the day gets going in earnest. We then jumped in a cab, 10 minutes down the road to the venue for their ceremony. The weather was just perfect - warm and bright but not too hot and sunny.

It was such a dreamy setting in the conservatory, with stunning flowers and soft sunlight coming through the windows. Following the ceremony their guests enjoyed champagne, canapes and a round of mini golf in the Italian Gardens whilst we headed off for couple photos in the house and gardens. How beautiful and unique is the interior of Chiswick House?! Definitely got me all excited and inspired. Their reception took place in the bright and airy marquee right next to the house, and we completed the evening with some sparkler shots - always a bit tricky in late June when it’s light so late! But the atmosphere was gorgeously romantic nevertheless. I absolutely loved photographing this day.
