What a glorious January day! Picking a winter date for your London pre-wedding shoot is always a bit of a risk, but we were super lucky for Cassandra and Danny’s shoot. To be honest, I’ve had better weather for most of my winter shoots this year than in the spring, which has been spectacularly wet. You just never know. Anyway, we met in Hyde Park for a few photos before walking through some of my favourite Kensington muse streets towards the Bailey’s Hotel at Gloucester Road.

Cassandra and Danny met just before the pandemic and Cassandra used to stay at the Bailey’s Hotel when she was in London. They had many dates here and wanted to take a few photos in the hotel to remember the time they first met. I love that all my couples are different. Some have no set ideas of what photos they want and are happy to go with the flow, while Cassandra knew pretty well the kind of shots she wanted for her wedding website. We had a brilliant afternoon putting our own spin on the shots she wanted and I absolutely loved working with them.
