Sam & Nic's intimate wedding at Oxford Town Hall

Oxford Town Hall wedding photography

St Aldate’s Room

Earlier this year I had the pleasure of photographing Sam and Nic’s small joyful wedding at the Oxford Town Hall. They married in front of their closest friends and family in the intimate St Aldate’s Room before heading across the road the pub by the same name for a relaxed lunch. I was only with them for three hours, but I really felt I was able to capture so much of the day in a very short amount of time. Sam and Nic were super happy and relaxed and and I was able to blend into their day easily straight away. While their guests got comfy in the pub, we went for a little walk around the nearby streets for their couple photos. It was a bit of a blustery spring day, but we managed to dodge the showers - and usually 15-20 minutes is all we need. I loved capturing their heartfelt speeches at the pub, and left them to it when the food arrived.

I have shot weddings at Oxford Town Hall a few times now and it’s such a unique and beautiful building. There’s a great choice of rooms for various numbers of guests and the registrars and staff are always super friendly and helpful.
