Cherise and Luke’s wedding day at the lovely Goldie Estate, Waiheke was full of fun, love and also some bittersweet tears. At the tail-end of the pandemic, Luke’s family were still not able to travel over from the UK, so had to join via video link from the UK. And what a brilliant, perfect summer’s day it was! They made the best of the situation, with huge screens everywhere, so Luke’s family could join in as much as it was possible under the circumstances. All their NZ family and friends were of course present and created a brilliant atmosphere for them.

The ceremony under the old Pohutukawa was stunning and I really enjoyed the beautiful al-fresco dinner at the bottom of the hill under the trees and fairy lights. A really magical day.
